An IIMB MPWE graduate, a mom, pranic healer, jewelry designer from NYIAD happiness blogger, and an accidental artist. Bangalore based Nidhi Kedia is a self-employed looking after wealth management of her family. We recently had a conversation with this multi-faceted personality.
BV: What inspired you to be an artist?
Nidhi: I don’t call myself an artist because I don’t make a living out of creativity. I’m a girl next door who loves to experiment with colors.
She uses water colours and different medium
BV: What kind of art/medium you deal with? Do you come with painting experience?
Nidhi: I have zero painting experience. I don’t think I have ever held a brush before. I’m currently working with water colours and acrylics on various mediums like paper, ply, and wood.
Her art speaks her mind
BV: What reflects your art and Why?
Nidhi: My art reflects my state of mind. It conveys life lessons, snippets from my life, and what I feel and why weaved along with a poem or quote.
Nidhi shares about life's lessons through her art
BV: How do you promote your art? And what are the challenges you face if any during the process?
Nidhi: I don’t really promote my art. My purpose is to spread a smile on someone’s face. I do share my work on Instagram and sometimes on my blog. It is not for sale.

BV: What are your thoughts on the Indian art scenario and how can we promote it?
Nidhi: Indian art is very progressive. I like the way artists use abstract and mixed media and make statements. I believe if an artist can put in a few words on his/ her art and give direction to thought it will be a great success.
