The question should be what not to love about Chandigarh! Isn’t it folks? Those who are from
Chandigarh will go all gaga about the
place and why not, it is something to be proud of. The architecture, the design, parks, educational and job opportunities, great food, posh residences, high life and much more are the few of the perks for those who live in Chandigarh.
Let’s talk about some of that will make you fall in love with this city:
- Architecture: First things first! The city is perfect a hundred percent. The way the city is constructed by Le’Corbusier and the idea he manifested for bringing the Human Analogy as the central idea of his designs really makes Chandigarh outstanding. It has greenery all around, parks, recreational activities; every sector has a shopping complex and is constructed in perfect blocks with residential areas on one side and industrial phases on the other.
- Traffic Rules are must to follow! This is one of the best features of Chandigarh where traffic rules are taken very seriously. To inculcate the habit of following the traffic rules amongst children there is also a Children Traffic Park in Sector 23. This is the best educational site to make your children learn the traffic rules and how necessary it is to drive safely. It grooms the child well. The fine levied for breaking the traffic rules is hefty and once you are given the warning make sure you do not break the law next time or you will be calling in trouble.
- Sukhna Lake, Cactus Garden, and Rose Garden; where couples meet! It is a city of Love and Rose Garden is one such place that symbolizes love in beautiful ways. Pre-wedding photoshoots are in trend and these parks are usually the center places for perfect wedding photography. There are some 12 parks in Chandigarh, all aligned in a linear pattern known as the Leisure Valley stretching some 8 KM long. These parks were made keeping in mind the need for connecting with Mother Nature and enjoy the beauty to calm one’s mind and relax. People go for jogs morning and evening and are also favourite places for picnics.
- Happening Night Life! Chandigarh’s nightlife is rocking and stand-up comedy shows, usually, on Saturday nights at various bars and pubs throughout the city, should not be missed. This is the best thing about this city that you get to enjoy a little bit of everything in one place. You can hang out with friends, family, go out on dates and enjoy safe nightlife where you can get entertained, savour in some really good food, live music and have a relaxing weekend. What more can you ask for?
- Education and Job Opportunities! It is the IT Hub where youth can go for part-time or full-time job opportunities. It is the home to some of the best institutes in North India with PGIMER on the top of the list. Children here grow in a perfect environment with moral, ethics and friendly atmosphere. The roots and culture, the difference between right and wrong should be inculcated in the child from his early growing stage and schools, atmosphere, neighbourhood, peer group plays a great role in shaping the child. Chandigarh has that wonderful environment that can groom a child well.
