  However we all know what actually happens! These healthy New Year Resolutions go on for a week, fifteen days or probably a month and we are back to our old and lazy routines. However if you really wish to keep your fitness resolutions intact then here are some easy tips for you:-   Take care of your body Take care of your body  
  • Start with something easy

Do not over burden yourself with too many difficult resolutions. Start with a few easy ones to inculcate your interest in fitness and then slowly increase your difficulty level week after week.   • Do not rely only on one thing

Always ensure that you have a couple of healthy habits going on simultaneously. Do not depend just on the exercises to reduce weight, take care of your diet as well. If you are going to the gym in the morning then in the evening you can go for a walk.   • Altering your diet

This is a difficult task but not very difficult if you are determined to keep your fitness New Year resolution. Analyse your diet and skip out the high calorie elements from it. In the beginning if you find it difficult to stay away from your favourite food then keep a cheat day, maybe a Sunday. Hunger often gets beyond your control if you have recently started working on your healthy New Year resolutions. In such situations, instead of attacking junk food, eat something healthy. If you are at your workplace, do not go to the canteen to have burgers or sandwiches. Instead, carry apples, fruit salads, peanuts or other dry fruits in your bag. Instead of making these healthy New Year resolutions alone, make them with your friends or family members. This ensures that if one of you is not in a mood of continuing on the path of fitness, the other one is there to get the lazy one back on the right track.
