Namaste Thailand Festival, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi, is coming back with a load of fun-filled activities and workshops from March 15th, 2019, between 3 P.M to 11 P.M at Select City Walk, New Delhi. The cultural fiesta is a one-stop occasion which commemorates the 72 years of Indo-Thai Diplomatic Relations.
Ambassador of Thailand - H.E Chutintorn GongsakdiThe formation of bilateral relations between Thailand and India has witnessed immense growth since 1947. The religious, cultural, mythological and commercial exchanges between the two countries have existed since centuries. To celebrate the diplomatic relations and strengthen the cultural bond, the festival of Thai food, products, music, performances, and culture is all set to lay out its cultural mat in the heart of Delhi, India.
Ambassador Chutintorn frying up Pad ThaiThe three-day event offers a range of wonderful activities and workshops where one can begin with Mulberry paper mini umbrella, body painting, button badge activities, posing with Thai costumes and a lot more. The festival brings a diverse range of fun-filled stalls which include women's fashion, paper flowers, accessories, jewelry to home decorations, relaxation aromas and souvenirs to add extra-Thai cultural flavor to the festival.
Namastey Thailand fan paintingVisitors can also experience the exquisite Thai cuisines from the renowned NuengRoi by Radisson Blu. Also, there will be three quiz competitions for half an hour about Thailand at 5:30 pm, 7 pm, and 8 pm respectively. Renowned Thai artists like Asia-7 and a Thai Jazz-fusion band will culminate the festival on a musical note.
The Thai festival culminates on 17th March 2019. The entry to the festival is free.
