Give time to your child.
Children tend to learn what they see! Make sure to engage in the social world less so that your children realize the value of living in the 'real world'. Spend time understanding their curiosities and solving their queries.
Be confident about your parenting.
Be your true self and raise your child. You need not copy others ways of parenting as you are unique. Your child needs to get through your identity to discover his own individuality.
Handle with care!
Children are sensitive to clamor and the harsh behavior which might sit deep inside their minds for long. Do not lose your temper when your young one is around. Be patient with their deeds and try to be composed while dealing with them.
Being a mother and a wife!
Now, it is one of the crucial New Year Resolutions for moms out there! You serve a lot being a 'mother' and a 'homemaker' that other roles of the life slip of your head. Give time to yourself and keep aside some time to spend exclusively with your ever supportive hubby!
Be a role model!
The parents must be cautious of their actions as they are the ideal for their little ones. You should be conscious and mindful of your reactions and responses so that your child grows up to be a responsible adult.
Take extra care about cleanliness.
Be careful about the cleanliness of your houses as it affects the health of your family. Keep those corners clean where the toddlers tend to crawl and hide!
Breathe happiness and warmth!
Give your time to your children as they need it when they are growing up. Invest your time in nurturing them and making them familiar with the world outside. Indulge in physical activities to shape your health and that of your kids'.
Give your child valuable lessons!
This world needs people who are generous and kind. Hence, teach your child to be a good human being despite ferocious competition prevailing in his ambiance. He must be emphatic and a staunch believer in symbiosis.
Play the role of a storyteller.
Bedtime should be the time when you tell stories of real and imaginary world to your child. The stories have proven to be effective in enhancing the cognition and creativity of the children. Therefore, do not miss out on this aspect of parenting.
Communicate well & bridge the gap.
This New Year, resolve to turn into a friend of your child. Ensure his active participation in your conversations and be a listener. Lend your ears to what they have to say about the world and allow them to express their opinions freely. Give them pieces of advice, a bunch of wisdom and handfuls of positive ideas to nourish their growing personalities
