Someone rightly said, “So long as you have food in your mouth, you have solved all questions for the time being”. When the corporates in and around M.G road are puzzled over a nice place to have lunch after a hectic meeting or a family looking for a gathering over the dining table, “The Three Quarter’s Chinese” comes to the rescue with its widespread buffet. The buffet specializes in Indian and Chinese food in addition to the live counters for Chaats, hot delicious Momos, instant Dosas and Chicken Skewers.
Since the restaurant has an array of multiple choices with their launch of “Wow Buffet”, let me help by selecting the perfect taste for you. You can go along with my experiences or can create new ones by visiting this place. To begin with, I had “Salads” on my plate. The Salads were a mix of American, Chinese and Indian. To pick from the lot, I chose Egg Fuyung, Chicken ceasar salad, Chinese Chicken salad and Pineapple Pasta. I fell for the “Pineapple Pasta”, I must say. Pasta in white sauce with a punch of pineapple flavor was incredible.
The Chinese Pickled Salad The Chicken Ceasar Salad The Chicken SaladOnce my stomach was pleased with the salads, I preferred to go for the starters and main course. But my question was which one first- Indian or Chinese? I prefer Chinese first for being lighter so that I can hog onto the Indian more.
The Chinese corner: The spring rolls and the Baby Corn Manchurian were so amazing to the palate. To add with these two, Fish Chilli Butter Garlic and Szechwan Prawn succeeded in winning my heart. You can choose either Chilli Garlic noodles or fried rice along with veg or non-veg curries for your main course. Don’t miss the juicy Shantung Chicken wings available.
How can I forget to mention the “Dimsums” (veg/non-veg) and the Chicken Skewers? The live counter will be all ready to serve you. What you need to do is just ask for it! Adding some spices to the chutney served with Momos could have been better.
The Desi side: The food was truly Indian, a perfect blend of all the spices. The “Hara mutter kismis ki tikki”- the medium spicy tikkis gives you a sweetness when the raisins “kismis” bursts into your mouth and “Kalonji Murgh Kabab”-enjoy the softness of the juicy chicken fibers, gets thumbs up from my side. “Rose meri paneer tikka” and “Methi Paneer” were available to satisfy the vegetarians.

If you are a fan of “Pani Puris” then don’t waste your time thinking, you can straight away go to the chaat counter and ask for it. Ask for the customization according to your taste. One can even try the “Raj Kachori Chaat”. Enjoy the variety of chaats in the chaat section.
How can a meal be complete without desserts? Enjoy the goodness of chocolate by dipping into the hot chocolate fountain. If you have sweet tooth, then you can enjoy the varieties of cakes, halwa, Ice-creams. “Chenna Toast” was too good to miss.
