During the 90’s when Punjab King “Daler Mehndi” came up with “balleballe”, “shavashava” or “burraaburraa”, the crowd couldn’t stop grooving. Even today, when the Punjabi folk songs have entered the mainstream cinema people play it on repeat. The sudden comeback of the popular albums is helping in preserving their roots.
