A tete-a-tete with Lipika Borah, beauty-queen-model and aspiring actress.

Lipika Borah is a stunning, photogenic beauty-queen-model and aspiring actress. She is basically from Assam and proud to be an Assamese. Inspired to become an actress, Lipika had done many modeling and acting assignments to make a mark in the industry as a professional model and actor who can reach good assignments. She strongly believes that to succeed one need to follow their dreams passionately through consistent learning and delivery of excellent results.

Ms. Lipika Borah started her career in modeling and acting since 2004.

Ms. Borah has won face of North East in 2009 and has done walk shows in Assam for designers and Jewellery. Also won beautiful body of the northeast in 2006.

She has done an ad-commercials photoshoot and promoted brands like Bisleri TVC, Reliance Jio, Danone, Home Décor TVC and NRHM. She has done a lot of music videos and one of them is 'Khirki Melute' with Zubeen Garg which got very popular.  She acted in a couple of Assamese movies like the underworld, Joon Tora, Pakila and Rowd.

Ms. Borah was a brand ambassador for a gems company named Geoshine Gems India Pvt. Ltd, Manik Chand Nand Kishore Jewellers, and Euon. Apart from these, she was involved in many print advertising assignments for different brands like International Expo 2010, Calcom cement, Home Décor, and Rongily Fabrics and many others.

She is passionate about acting, dancing, traveling, and photography.

We had an interaction with her where Lipika talks more about her career and future plans. Below are the excerpts:   BV: What inspired you to be a model? Do you always aspire to be a model? Lipika: " Fashion is a deep passion of mine. To be a model, it takes more than just pretty face and hot body. I think modeling is an expressive art form and tells a story without words. You can show movement in a still picture, and I think that is incredible to be able to have that skill. "    BV: What requires to be a model? Lipika: If you want to be a model you should be committed to achieving it! Having the right look and figure is also important but without determination, you will not succeed. If you want to be a model then you should always be professional in your attitude.    BV: What are the challenges you faced during your journey so far? How did you overcome? Lipika: I have been a little distant from the media and entertainment industry due to a personal emergency and here in the M&E sector, it’s always believed as out of sight, out of Mind! I worked hard patiently waiting for the right time and here my time has come!    BV: Was your family supportive of your modeling career? Lipika: My beloved father, who taught me- life is a great gift and cherish every second of it. This was my greatest inspiration for my modeling career.    BV: Any achievement you like to share?
