City Comedians Joining Hands for Cancer- Your Smiles Can Buy Many Smiles!

Bangalore, a melting pot of diverse culture celebrates various forms of art and artists. Be it poetry, theatre, fine arts or comedy, this city offers entertainment and awareness through various acts of art. comedians, Bananivista Comedians in the city On 9 June 2019, BananiVista organized a stand-up comedy show (Your Smiles Can Buy Many Smiles) in association with Hope for Cancer Patients (HCP). HCP is an NGO registered under the Trust Registration Act, founded in 2015. Founded by Seema Singh, a cancer survivor by herself, this organization aims to take suitable steps towards prevention against cancer. HCP works following the guidelines of the National Cancer Control Programme of WHO by generating awareness amongst children and adults in the regional languages throughout the country.
Hope for Cancer Patients is an NGO. HCP’s slogan hinges on 4S: SWACHHTA, SWASTHYA, SAKSHARTA & SWAROJGAR which will be a war cry against CANCER. Our main mission is to take suitable steps towards Prevention against CANCER. Like minded people and volunteers have associated with HCP and have been furthering its cause in Bihar, Jharkhand, Karnataka, West Bengal, and Delhi.
The event was a fun-filled evening where four city comics came together and joined hands in support of the cause. Nalin Vyas, who is one of the fast-growing stand-up comedians from Bangalore. He is a techie turned stand-up comedian whose act is majorly based on the lifestyle of metropolitan corporate crowd. He has been performing across the country, shared the stage with some of the funniest names like Jeeveshu Ahluwalia, Ahmed Shariff, and Vamsidhar Bhogaraju. He has also participated as a panelist in comedy writing workshops with Kenny Sebastian, Abish Mathews, Daniel Fernandes, Karthik Kumar, and Neville Shah. comedians, Bananivista Nalin Vyas
Rohan Ralli is another comic who continued to make the audience roll with laughter through his innocent humorous stories and jokes. Aged 19, a degree student in a reputed college in Bangalore, Ralli is a comedian and a writer. In his leisure time, he gets up on a stage and makes fun of all the things that his life revolves around. comedians, Bananivista Rohan Ralli
There are comedians who include some hilarious situations from their own life-experiences and one among them is Ashwin Srinivas. He is a stand up comic from Bangalore and is popularly known for his clean content across the circuit. He performs across the major cities in India- Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai. Through his comedy, he speaks about his insecurities, Indian parents and typically everything that a failed IT engineer experience can make it relatable for the audience.  He too has performed alongside with some of the biggest names in the comic industry- Kunal Kamra, Aravind SA, Sundeep Rao and many more. comedians, Bananivista Ashwin Srinivas
We had Rajesh Hinduja, who was another comic in our show. He discovered comedy being a hidden talent a few years back. He has performed at various venues across the country and doing it now as a full-time professional comedian.
